DeOlivere copped the Percé Tappin award for photography at the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) 2006 in Barbados. He has been bestowed with numerous gold, silver and
bronze medals during his participation in the festival and was honoured with the coveted Prime Minister's Award of Excellence with the most outstanding entry for NIFCA 2006 and the Prime Minister's Scholarship
in 2007.
Shortly after he created "DeOlivere Originals", a company which specializes in Photography, Fine Art, Illustration and Graphic Design
In 2013 he had his acting debut in the locally produced movie "PAY DAY" playing a small part in a role as the character “Gus”. In the sequel "NEXT PAYDAY: On a Wing and a Prayer" he reprised his role.
